Marketing establishes communication between providers and consumers

Say, you are selling shampoo. A bad marketing strategy would be to release advertisements that tell people how many vitamins are contained in the product and how many bubbles will it be able to create. A good strategy, on the other hand, depicts the use of the product, persuading consumers to buy through showing them what the vitamins do to your hair. Moreover, such a method must impart how your company values beauty and how it does ways to make its customers satisfied.
See the message in there? Marketing helps communication between providers and consumers happen. There is a give-and-take relationship. Through making consumers know how a product benefits them, they are given a chance to evaluate the message and make a decision. They are made aware of what they’ll get from it and they decide. Hence, its effectiveness is measured through the market share you are able to obtain.
